Chapel Haven (Chapel Haven Schleifer Center), located in New Haven, Connecticut, is a nationally accredited nonprofit community dedicated to helping adults with developmental, social, and cognitive disabilities live self-determined and fulfilling lives. Through its signature REACH (Residential Education at Chapel Haven) and ASAT (Asperger Syndrome Adult Transition) programs, Chapel Haven provides immersive residential education, life skills training, and social communication support tailored to adults aged 18 and over.
In addition to its core programs, Chapel Haven offers day programming, continuing education, supported living, vocational training, recreation, and community integration opportunities—ensuring that graduates have lifetime options and ongoing support as their needs evolve. The campus includes modern residential and classroom facilities, as well as the SAIL program, which offers adults independent living opportunities within a supportive community.
